One of the most underrated R&B singers today There are such talented R&B singers that all lot of them don't get the credit they deserve these two women have been around for over a decade and still performing today and they are easily the best singers in the R&B world.
These women put Beyonce and Alicia Keys to shame Deborah Cox - Nobody's Supposed To Be Here (1998) http://www.youtube.com/wa...TndJHdKp04 Tamia - Stranger In My House (2000) http://www.youtube.com/wa...iNyoOyTI5g

They both have excellent voices and have released some good stuff. I think Deborah's lack of BIG success is due to the material. She can sing anything and they continue to give her sub-par songs like "Did you ever love me" and "saying goodbye" from her latest project.
As for Tamia, I think her career was blackballed when she started talking smack about Quincy Jones. I can't recall what all went down, but I know she got upset about something with her first album and Quincy. She then went with Brenda Richie and Sylvia Rhome and worked for Atlantic for a while. Now, since she's independent, I think her music has gotten ten times better. If I'm not mistaken, she had one of the biggest independent r&b albums with Between Friends. That album did pretty well and she managed to get a couple of r&b hits out of it. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I like Deborah Cox's latest CD. I agree that she should be bigger.
