Anastacia is AMAZING.. undoubtedly one of the best singers in the world, she's totally unique. It's good to see her back on her feet after the cancer!!! [Edited 3/16/09 6:40am] "They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself."

While I'm happy for Anastacia's success (she strikes me as hard worker), I don't care for her voice. The timbre of it irritates me. She does seem like she preservered for a long time to get to where she is and I respect her for it....but she was overwhelmingly popular on this side of the pond to the point of near saturation, and it was hard for me to get into her because I just don't like her voice at all.

None of the above, but I thought that song "I'm Outta Love" was very cool when I first heard it.
I had just come back from Italy and hadn't heard any new music at all, so when I heard it I was like, "Damn!! That's funky."
Actually I think she did an autograph signing session at my local shopping centre the following year...or the same year, I can't recall exactly when it was.... Ricky Martin did one too at the same place.  | |
