that was the Jam back in the day.Lenny White is a Badd Ass on Drums IMHO.the Cat use too Drum in the Band Return too Forever with Stanley Clarke, on Bass, Al Demiola Guitar,Chic Corea on Keys.Lenny went Funky&did various Projects once He split from Return Too Forever.

Oh man,I love that song! Back in 1980,that was one of the FUNKIEST jams on the radio.When you think about it,the year 1980 gave us some kickass funk jams...

By the way,can someone explain to me exactly what Michael Henderson's song "Wide Receiver" was all about? Is it a sexual innuendo,or a drug reference?

I think the song more so contains humorous sexual innuendo than anything else...with lines like sometimes.."sometimes you feel like {a nut} sometimes you don't.

Henderson was poking fun at a lot of famous t.v commercials during that time..like the Mean Joe Greene Coca-Cola commercial with him and that little boy, plus the Almond Joy with nuts candy bar commercial.

Me and some of my buddies are currently converting all of my favorite late 70's and 80's funk/disco 45 rpm records into CDs{through downloading..weshould find this one and download it}. I'll have to pull out my 45 r.p.m. of "Wide Receiver" and see can I hear other sexual innuendos.
