those who are familiar with Millie's daughter... Keisha Jackson isn't she the coolest chick? 
this mixtape is everything it's Vol. 2... and Vol.1 was just as good! ya'll should really support this dame 
and though I already have NAPO:4WW on vinyl, it's cool to hear "Amerykahn Promise" without all the sound effects... it's really just the RAMP original with the blaxploitation intro and the weird bass outro I will be adding to this thread as stuff arrives... I speak with her on myspace from time to time and she's sooooo down to earth 
she also sings backup for Erykah Badu and can be found in many of the clips on youtube post-Mama's Gun era... (she's the girl with the biggest hair) at times she does sound like Millie but she definitely got her own style I love the intro on Vol.1 Millie was on there and she said "I been tryin to get this child to curse for years!!! she don't know it but I heard her say bitch once... I can't get her to say the F word"

I have that second album, and I hate to break it to ya DavidEye, but there are definitely no "Fuck You Symphonies" to be heard on this disc.
I only ever played it once and from what I remember, it's a typical early nineties sounding album. Here' s a sample: BTW - I spoke to her too, on myspace, right after I bought the album. I asked her if she's still a "nineties woman," and she said yes! | |
