I would argue that TTD is one of the greatest soul singers of ALL time. I put him up there with Marvin and Sam Cooke and James Brown. People may disagree but i personally think he embodies and evokes many of great soul singers in his voice. I'm not even a huge fan. I only own his first album and a clutch of other tracks by him but my god can he sing. | |

See that's the problem there's 2 many "stars" and not enough sangers/musicians 'cause all the real ones are signing backup, doin sessions, or walkin the trail of bloody tears known as "Gospel Plays" /Late Night Tv Show Band
