Their second album 'Another Taste' is my favorite album by them.Such a shame that it's not on CD! mad The funky first single "Do It Good" and the hypnotic disco gem "Dance" are excellent tunes.

It's absurd that the first album and the third album are paired together as a 2-CD set,but the second album is not available at all.

'Taste of Honey"..... it's been while since I've heard are thought about those two incredible musician's; I"m going to have to go into my media server, and see what I have. Janice Marie Johnson (vocal, co-writer bass) and Carlita Dorhan (vocals, guitar) I saw them in concert, those sista's could play/jam! Very seldom did you see women who were the upfront/lead singers play instruments, especially black women. Thanks for posting this.

I like this album, but overall I prefer the slower/mid-tempo numbers. That "give her some room she's a dancer" always makes me giggle

Their second album is my favorite, too! Funny, that's the one that got the least love from the public...but IMO, it's got the best balance of tunes...you're right, it should've been released on CD...I mean damn, it didn't even get a Japanese Import pressing!

Yeah,I don't know why the public ignored that album.I like "Do It Good" even more than "Boogie Oogie Oogie".

That's a good point, too! BoogieOogie was their biggest hit, but I think their forte was really the slow/midtempo numbers....

The self titled album had just as much depth and balance as I recall (IMHO) Those slow jams /ballads: [i]"Sky High", "You" and "World Spin", which had that ol'school 60's vibe. It's unfortunate that radio/public weren't able to get past titled release"Boogie Oogie Oogie". confused

Taste Of Honey had so much more than "Boogie Oogie Oogie" and "Sukyaki."

The second album is at least as good as the first one.

Props for posting "Don't Lead Me On." Nobody talks about that song!

I have the 45 but have been looking for the album for a long time.
