First time I saw him was in 88 at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the Uk. I was right at the back but it didnt dampen by enjoyment at all. When he first came out I remember the feeling of the bass vibrate through the ground, the crowd went wild and he had us in the plam of his hand for the rest of the show. The best performance for me was Beat It. Didnt really like the song up until then but he seemed to put his all into it and it just came across as powerful.
Even now I can still recapture a little of the high I felt for days after seeing him live, amazing.

According to good ol' Friedman, there has been no management chage! "Well, let it be said again: Jackson senior and Rowe are not managing Michael Jackson and certainly not attending to his "business interests" as laid out in their press release. Over the weekend someone named Ladd Biro kept emailing this reporter insisting all this was true. But conversations with Jackson’s current actual advisers and producers of his London shows confirmed that Leonard Rowe and Joseph Jackson simply have nothing to do with the singer." http://www.foxnews.com/st...,00.html#2 "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

alphastreet said: To those of you who have been to his shows before, what was your first time like?
Were you all excited when it was time for him to come out? What were some feelings you had? I have seen Michael twice. First time was the Bad tour in Cardiff. I was absolutely blown away and had those feelings of hysteria that seem to happen at a MJ show. I thought it was the best most exciting thing I had ever seen. Everyone I know who saw the show said the same. The second time was the Dangerous tour again in Cardiff. I went alone this time so I could fight my way to the front and I was at the front, centre for the show. At the time the press were running the Michaels nose has fallen off stories and actually he looked amazing up close. Truly gorgeous and nothing like the terrible photos that were all over the british scum press. I have to say though he used so many of the same 'tricks' and themes he had used in the Bad show I didn't enjoy it as much. The things that had caused hysteria in the last show were all done again and for longer periods that they got tiresome for me. No doubt that if that was your first show you would be loving it but having seen similar from him already I didn't enjoy it as much. I didn't try and get tix for these new shows but I have to say I really hope he tries new things and apart from a few signature moves treats everyone to some really cool new styles. There is no doubt he is an amazing talent and can really truly engage his audience but he needs to do something new. Love MJ and really glad he has managed to come back in such magnificent circumstances. Have you had your + signs today?

I can't tell you how the Bad concert I went to felt like. I went with my sister and her friend who wasn't even a MJ fan but the minute he came on stage she wept like a baby! We all did. It was spine tingling. Yes front row was bitterswet really as I wanted to feel the same as i did in Bad and it didn't happen. The three of us had tried to get to the front in the Bad show (NO chance) and at Dangerous I was fearless and got there. People were fainting and being passed over heads and picked out from the crowd. It was mad. The fans at the front are full on and I was going from front to second to front to third until I hooked my arms and wouldn't budge. It was hard work! At Bad Kris Kross or Criss Cross (not sure how you spell that duo) were the warm up act. Do you remember them - they sang Jump Jump. Well the three of us were about 15 rows from the front when they sang that and we were being launched off the ground without even jumping, we lost our nerve and headed back to the sides of the stadium. I took the most rubbish photos on a regular film camera at the show and have them all in a scrapbook along with my ticket, the program and some notes that are my memories of the show. Amazing memories and thanks for letting me ramble! Have you had your + signs today?

I go to see MJ for the first time in Prague on his HIstory opening night, but we were so far away from the stage, that I saw him as a little gold shining moving dot. But I got to see him in front of the hotel before the concert. There weren´t many fans because everyone was at the concert to get the best places. We had seating tickets so we did not care. All the time I was stanting in the first row in front of the hotel. When he got out, all of sudden I was in the last row as everyone pushed themselves forward. But I still got to see him for a second. He was wearing a mask, but no shades, which is better for me than if he wore sunglasses and no mask becuase I got to see his eyes. I´ll never forget it. His eyes are so big and beautiful and they tell you exactly what s going on inside of him and they were telling us "guys, I love you, but yu are scaring me to death. He didn´t have that many bodyguards there. He was so sweet. It was a second, but I´ll remember it forever. Then I got to see him several times, but never real close, even though once I was in almost the first row, but the damn bodyguard kept standing in the way most of the time driving me crazy. WTF is this crap!? My name is Princess Zaynab bint Fahd bin Khalid al-Saud. My father is popularly known as Satan the Devil. I am from Saudi Arabia and I am married to the American Superstar Singer Michael Jackson as Nona Paris Lola Ankhesenamun Jackson.
http://michaeljacksonesta...gspot.com/ I also found this: ...This is a very sad moment for all of us but we have had to take this formal and drastic step because we suddenly saw Michael & Nona's eldest son TAJ Jackson (June 7, 2008) walking about in Devon in England whereby his father and Nona were not properly informed of his presence in England...
We are particularly concerned about Taj & Taryll because they are expected to begin preparations to marry their Saudi royal brides respectively. http://www.groundreport.c...-Jackson-S And this: Initial reports are already filtering through that Al-Qaeda has warmly welcomed Michael Jackson into their faith and are confident that this high profile conversion will prove to be the turning point whereby millions of young Americans, already disillusioned by the economic crisis that is sapping Americas confidence will turn to the Koran for inspiration. Sources close to Al Qaeda leadership are said to have have confirmed open satisfaction by leaders including Deputy Ayman Al-Zawahiri according to some Pakistani news services.

I have a random question for people that own the 'Moonwalk' autobiography. On their copy do they have sketches of Madonna and others on one of the pages? And somewhere signed 1998? I got mine from a secondhand store and am not sure if a fan drew it or if it's meant to be there.

I bought the book in the late eighties, and I do not recall Madonna's name being mentioned, nor were there any sketches of her in the book.

The sketches are drawn exactly in Michaels style too. There was no mention of her. Just a really great drawing. And I think one of himself and a little boy too. Its been ages since I've looked at it. All I remember is there is definitley one of Madonna. I'll put the pictures up if no one else has seen anything else like this on theirs. It's either some cool edition (even though my book says it was published in 1988 but the signature is signed 1998) or some fan that has the ability to mimic Michaels artisitic style very well.

New Michael Jackson Book by Bruce Swedien
Michael Jackson's former music engineer will release a new book titled "In The Studio with Michael Jackson" on 272 pages this September. The description says: "The inside secrets of Michael Jackson's greatest records by the Grammy-winning engineer who captured and enhanced their sound. Multiple color photos of Jackson, producer Quincy Jones, and all the talents who collaborated to make pop history with Jackson's albums. Plucked from a job at legendary Universal Audio in Chicago, Bruce Swedien entered into a fruitful and historic 30-year relationship with producer Quincy Jones. That partnership culminated in the groundbreaking recordings of Michael Jackson, beginning with The Wiz, continuing with Jackson's breakout solo debut Off the Wall, and triumphing with Thriller, which revolutionized music and video and fixed Jackson in culture as the King of Pop. Now Swedien reveals the technical details of creating those albums (along with Bad, Dangerous, and HIStory) and offers personal remembrances and anecdotes about working with the pop icon. Swedien's book provides an insider's look that will thrill anyone interested in the nuts and bolts of hit making and the history of some of America's most influential recordings. HIGHLIGHTS * Large collection of photographs from Michael Jackson recording sessions * Forewords by producer Quincy Jones and writer/producer Rod Temperton!" How cool for you! Lisa I did not think of that back then either. But we got to Prague and we had several hours to the concert having nothing to do. And all of sudden, we heard people screaming. We followed the sound and got to his hotel. But later on, in Berlin we went to the hotel on purpose because we did not have tickets to the Bambi show or anything so it was the only way to see him. Has anyone heard if MJ is releasing any new music. Is an album coming out? You know I honestly believe that if he releases an album now it will outsell "Bad" in the U.K.
(Bad is his best selling UK album I believe,at 2+ million, if he can sell one million tickets there, he should easily be able to sell 3 million CDs..at least that is my logic). Besides more people in the UK now than 20 years ago. [Edited 4/3/09 22:24pm] To All the Haters on the Internet
