I saw this picture yesterday. :love:He was wearing the white socks already back in the day. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

No, I'm not going to bust out with it like Church Lady. Who´s that guy, anyway? What´s wrong with this picture? There are tons of other pictures of Mike posing like that with other people. He's the lead guitarist and songwriter for The Who, lol.

We got to listen to some of the songs on the radio, but you knew nothing about the artists. Unless you cared to find out more, you did not get flooded by the information they way you do today. I do remember the band, but never liked it enough to be bothered to find out anything about them. Anyway, I am still an expert on music compared to some people I know, really. I met people my age (30 years old) who never heard of Prince or Joe Cocker for example How old are you, BTW? I think about 20, but i am not sure. Will Michael Jackson pay off debts with O2 gigs?
Adjust the sliders on our O2 calculator to find out how many shows he would have to perform to get back in the black http://www.timesonline.co...04178a.swf Just how many shows would Michael Jackson have to play at the O2 to pay off his considerable debts? That's the question that came to mind last week when the King of Pop began adding shows on an almost daily basis to the initial run of 10 nights. As you can see, we make it about 160 - give or take: enough that he'd have to be doing his moonwalk well into next Spring, at any rate. How did we make our calculations? We started with the The O2, who told us that for Jackson's gigs, the venue's capacity will be 17,000, and that a fair assumption of the 'average ticket price' would be £70. (The 'official' tickets range from £50-75, though there's been some talk of a more exclusive category.) So: for each night we can work out ticket revenue. How much would Jackson take away? According to Rob Hallett, president for international touring at AEG Live, a promoter, a big artist like ‘MJ’ can expect to take home around 45-50 per cent of gross takings. Assuming additional, merchandising revenues of £10 per ticket - “It tends to swing between £5 at the low end and £15 for a band like Iron Maiden with lots of ‘rocker’ fans who want T-shirts,” said Hallett – that means a run of 50 shows would earn Jackson about £30 million. Estimating Jackson’s debts was trickier. Four years ago, Jackson was forced to use his 50 per cent stake in the Beatles catalogue as collateral for about $270 million in loans he had taken out to fund his lavish lifestyle. (He had sold the other 50 per cent to Sony, the record label, in 1995 for as much as £150 million – also to shore up his finances.) Also, in November last year, he was forced to sell his 2,500-acre ‘Neverland’ ranch, after defaulting on a $24.5 million mortgage. Based on these and other reported estimates, we’ve assumed debts of at least £100 million. (It’s possible they’re much higher. Equally, it’s worth bearing mind that according to some estimates, Jackson’s 50 per cent stake in the Beatles back catalogue is worth as much as $500 million.) In any event, these assumptions became the basis for The Times’ ‘Michael Jackson O2 Calculator’ – built in collaboration with Business Smart - which we hope you enjoy. http://entertainment.time...923570.ece [Edited 3/17/09 12:21pm] MJ L.O.V.E: https://www.facebook.com/...689&type=2 / YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/us...nderSilent

Stars Line Up To Appear On Jacko Album
By Leanne, Wednesday 18th March 2009 04.08pm (139 views) Word on the street is that Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Kanye West, Ne-Yo and Will.I.Am are lined up to appear on Michael Jackson's first album since 2001's 'Invincible'. AEG Live's Randy Philips certainly seems to think this is more than idle speculation, saying: "Michael has got some new music and he is looking for a new way of disseminating his material to his fans". http://www.glasswerk.co.u...acko+Album [Edited 3/19/09 7:18am] MJ L.O.V.E: https://www.facebook.com/...689&type=2 / YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/us...nderSilent

Hold My Hand and Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' 2008 I like the new music for WBSS 2008, but it's Akon's vocals that ruin it If they had put the instrumental version of it, I know some fan would've made a remix with Michael's vocals from the album version or demo, and it would've sounded great "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. Unfortunately I think when JT works with other artists he infuses too much of his style into their work - how many reworkings of the beats to Cry Me A River can he pass around, or how many "FutureSex/LoveSounds" soundalike songs (see Ciara Love Sex Magic and try not to think about "Sexy Ladies"). I think Justin is talented, but he seems to dish the same for other artists. Swa "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"
