I always saw "Will you be there" as a struggle to live a normal life in a complex world. It can be taken as much about any man's struggles in life and that of finding humanity and spirituality, as well as a personal reflection of Michael's on his career and position in life.
To me it's a song about hope, about acceptance and about finding peace beyond loneliness and finding your place in this world. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

MJ seems to cry when singing "Will You Be There". The song probably hits home for him as far as personal issues. The lyrics are deep.

So let's say Michael becomes more superficial, more obsesse with Peter Pan and Neverland can't that reflect in the music he produces? Have you noticed once Michael officially broke away from his brothers not only did he become more like Peter Pan but so did his music? The amount of sickly, sweet "Heal The World" songs that became part of his music doubled. I mean some of the stuff that he has on his latter albums make songs like "Ben" and "Happy" sound real deep! okay you make it sound like he has a million sappy songs, post me a lost of all his peter pan like songs for me, I think he only has a few (oops, nevermind edit) May I ask how old you are? (I'm a few older then MJ...) [Edited 3/8/09 21:43pm]

Gosh, do you really believe that? Most honorable people would rather die trying to clear their name than be forever known as a pedophile. this is what his personal friends said...personally, i dont give a damn if he did do it cuz my memories r in the music... im just sayin.. Um Ok Serena I don't mean to be harsh here or disrespectful so please take this with the intent it is given. First off, I seem to see you constantly taking snipes on this thread, and all of us are trying to be respectful of the artists being discussed, however you don't seem to even want to focus on the music, but more want to play in rumour and innuendo. Secondly your claim that "someone with his visibility in the world would've surely spent their last penny, if truly innocent, to clear their name, instead of spending it to buy silence." seems a little out of place and incorrect. Yes Michael settled the first case, which he has since said was a mistake, and he regrets. And as for the ridiculous allegations of 2005 - Michael did fight this and did, it seems, spend near to every penny defending his innocence. One of the reasons many of you seem to imply he needs to do these shows. So I guess like the courts and jury in which he was tried, you too by your own reasoning deem Michael innocent. Now please everyone, can we stop with the pointless and disruptive posts. It seems a lot of people are excited about the July shows. As well they should. What to expect, we all really don't know. It's all speculation and conjecture. And to call the shows a trainwreck or even the greatest shows on earth months before opening night is about has accurate as calling Lotusflow3r the biggest flop or biggest achievement before it is released. Let us, the fans and admirers of Michael, enjoy the excitement of a new tour and likelihood of a new album without having to endure a barrage of negativity.
