PrintableFirst time I saw him was in 88 at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the Uk. I was right at the back but it didnt dampen by enjoyment at all.When he first came out I remember the feeling of the bass vibrate through the ground, the crowd went wild and he had us in the plam of his hand for the rest of the show. The best performance for me was Beat It. Didnt really like the song up until then but he seemed to put his all into it and it just came across as powerful.
Even now I can still recapture a little of the high I felt for days after seeing him live, amazing. | |

There is no doubt he is an amazing talent and can really truly engage his audience but he needs to do something new. I took the most rubbish photos on a regular film camera at the show and have them all in a scrapbook along with my ticket, the program and some notes that are my memories of the show. I go to see MJ for the first time in Prague on his HIstory opening night, but we were so far away from the stage, that I saw him as a little gold shining moving dot. But I got to see him in front of the hotel before the concert. There weren´t many fans because everyone was at the concert to get the best places. We had seating tickets so we did not care. All the time I was stanting in the first row in front of the hotel. When he got out, all of sudden I was in the last row as everyone pushed themselves forward. But I still got to see him for a second. He was wearing a mask, but no shades, which is better for me than if he wore sunglasses and no mask becuase I got to see his eyes. I´ll never forget it. His eyes are so big and beautiful and they tell you exactly what s going on inside of him and they were telling us "guys, I love you, but yu are scaring me to death. He didn´t have that many bodyguards there. He was so sweet. It was a second, but I´ll remember it forever. Then I got to see him several times, but never real close, even though once I was in almost the first row, but the damn bodyguard kept standing in the way most of the time driving me crazy. The sketches are drawn exactly in Michaels style too. There was no mention of her. Just a really great drawing. And I think one of himself and a little boy too. Its been ages since I've looked at it. All I remember is there is definitley one of Madonna. I'll put the pictures up if no one else has seen anything else like this on theirs. It's either some cool edition (even though my book says it was published in 1988 but the signature is signed 1998) or some fan that has the ability to mimic Michaels artisitic style very well. | |

How cool for you! Lisa I did not think of that back then either. But we got to Prague and we had several hours to the concert having nothing to do. And all of sudden, we heard people screaming. We followed the sound and got to his hotel. But later on, in Berlin we went to the hotel on purpose because we did not have tickets to the Bambi show or anything so it was the only way to see him. Has anyone heard if MJ is releasing any new music. Is an album coming out? You know I honestly believe that if he releases an album now it will outsell "Bad" in the U.K.
(Bad is his best selling UK album I believe,at 2+ million, if he can sell one million tickets there, he should easily be able to sell 3 million CDs..at least that is my logic). Besides more people in the UK now than 20 years ago. [Edited 4/3/09 22:24pm] To All the Haters on the Internet
