ANYWAYS, I think it's best we ignore the current BET/MTV/VH-1 channels (except for VH-1 Classics and BETJ) because I feel their programming may get worse than it is now.

Slenderoni1978 said: Remember BET use to also play rare shows like "Baby, I'm Back" with Denise Nichols, Demond Wilson and Kim Fields along with "The New Odd Couple," "Sanford" and the show where Flip Wilson and Gladys Knight were married and, I believe, Jaleel White(Steve Urkel) played their son? Anybody, remember the name of that show? Thinking about how BET has changed brings tears to my eyes.
That was "Charlie & Company" which I think was a spinoff of "The Jeffersons"....I liked the theme song which was sung by Gladys herself....

Now THAT was the BET I knew and loved I'm nostaƶgic for their old programming too. I bet if you asked most young knuckleheads out here today what are the iconic black situation comedies on American tv, they wouldn't be able to pull anything from their brain archives beyond late 90's WB programming
