Solange is too fierce for these children. Her latest album is too forward thinking for today's dumbed down record buying public. You can't give them anyting too intelligent. It goes right over their heads. They don't get anything unless they are told they should like it.

"T.O.N.Y." is my jam! But it is way too short. It needs to be extended and without that slow wind down. The video is funny:

http://it.truveo.com/Sola...1850201710

I just saw it for the first time today after reading this thread. Are they keeping it a secret? It ain't on YouTube. I've been breathlessly antisapating a video for this one (seems like months now). And I honestly didn't think there would be a 3rd video. Especially considering the lack of enthusiasm from the public.

That said...I honestly can't believe I'm feeling this chick.

Same here. Sandcastle was the wrong follow-up. I bought the CD on New Years and still haven't listened to it, but T.O.N.Y. is kinda slick, saw the video the other day.

**Do not download** (unless you've already purchased her CD already!)

I accelerated it a bit..

I reminds me of another R&B song, but I cannot remember it.

My fav joints are "Dancing in the Dark" Would've Been The One" and "Valentine's Day". Im feeling her much more as an artist than her sis but I want her to work on her vocal technique because although she can sing, her voice can retain a nasal, whiny quality when she hits the high notes and it can be a bit much, I do love her harmonies and melodies. thumbs up! Get 'em Solange wink

I like Dancing in the Dark, along with

I Told You So
Cosmic Journey
Sandcastle Disco
I Decided

I agree about her vocals. She definitely needs to work on them. Her range is limited, so on many songs it sounds like she is straining due to her pushing her voice beyond it's limit.

If only Beyonce would have taken notes to make good music liek this. Her LP is so much better than I am. Seriously.
