Midnight Star "Slow Jam" still sounds good after 20 years Heard "Slow Jam" by Midnight Star on satellite radio recently. Man, this joint is the shizzit. Lots of babies made off of that one back in the day. This has got to be one of the all-time best slow songs ever. The version by Usher and Monica didn't even come close to the orginal. Heard Babyface did a version of it along time ago also. Would love to hear that. Music Royalty in Motion

When I made a list recently to see which songs 'Face actaully wrote, wow. He can craft some great melodies and songs, love a lot of his work. This one is great.

That's a great song. They don't make R&B songs like this anymore and it's a damn shame too. That's another song that I'm going to put on my iPod. [Edited 3/2/09 7:47am] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
