How did I know this was gonna turn into some stupid ass Prince vs Trent thread??? Trent makes the choice to make his music available on Torrents. Just like Prince chooses the way he wants his music distributed. I'm glad Trent uses the internet to get his music out like this. I've always thought that artists should be able to distribute their work the way they want to. But I'm also not jumping down Prince's throat because he doesn't wanna put his entire vault out for free on a thumb drive. Trent has said himself that Prince gave him the idea to use the internet to distribute his music. Yet, everytime he does something like this, disgruntled Prince fans turn it into some kind of competition. It's sad. Let Trent do what he wants to do, and let Prince do what he wants to do.
