I used to think she needed better material and she should just let her voice shine and all this. But, now that I've seen more from her, I don't think she would have made it relying solely on that thin and sometimes shrill voice of hers. Even when she covers a classic, the song goes in one ear and out the other. I don't put her in the same category vocally as some of her peers (like Kelly Clarkston, Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera etc). So no, I obviously don't think she or Alicia or anyone else with 3 or 4 CDs out can be called a legend. Time is what determines these things. "Be glad for what you had baby, what you've got..." | |
