Gaibrella! Is anyone else tired?...

I got nothing against the girl but her 'sweet about me' song...get's on my nerves..alot...

Perhaps because it is over played...does anyone else agree?

I dug this girl about a year ago, once again America is behind, her whole cd is really good, not out here till March 17th, but you know the way labels are, they are going to jam it all down your throat, thats why i say, there is NO competetion in this country, labels can only handle one release at a time.

So i know that america is going to ruin this girl, but hopefully she sticks to the european market which did her well long before, and she keeps that focus.

I don't know how America is to be trusted with new acts anymore. Hell we don't even pay attention to the real talent that comes from our neck in the woods! lol

I think more or less they will just try to jam her down everyones throat,etc...you know the HYPE deal. The thing is though if she werent talked about or hyped, everyone would just say "shes cool", but you know the hate for her is just around the corner on this forum.

But truth on the "trusting america" i think we all have to go with our ears and just tune out the HYPE and the magazines and the Perez hiltons and TMZ's and Mtv's and Bet's , because they are all one machine at this point. But Gab is a cool girl, just starting, lots of room to grow, but i know no one will let her.

Yeah i mean this whole HYPE generation is just out of hand, this whole "you have to sell X amount of records or your done" crap is really got to be ended. Elton John said recently he would "never" want to be coming up today, because he would be dropped, or not even allowed to record a second album after not "blowing up" out of the box, but we all know whos to blame for this? (soundscan generation)

I didn't mind that song when it first came out.

Actually I initially thought it was Amy Wackhouse or Crackhouse or Crackhead or whatever her name is. Y'know, that British singer who's backed up by Sharon Jones' band...whatsername again??? confuse
