She performed this on Soul Train? Hopefully, someone will post it because I want to see it too.

I remember seeing it when I was a kid. It was so weird to see her by herself without her brothers. She seemed kind of lost.
Doesn't surprise me she was on Soul Train. Cornelius had the hots for her. [Edited 2/19/09 15:31pm] "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

[Edited 2/19/09 15:31pm] That's understandable she would seem lost because she was so use to being on stage with her brothers. And some people aren't meant to be solo acts. I think she would've been on Soul Train, regardless. But Cornelius wasn't the only one because I knew a lot of guys who were crushin' on Bunny.

Looking back, Bunny was pretty, but to me, at the time, she didn't stand out. I think she looked like a lot of my mom's friends. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

I have great memories of this song and YES Bunny did it for me. Also Bunny & Bobby co wrote "Let's Spend The Night" Off her solo LP...I love hearing her sing with her brothers they have a chemistry like no other, Also quiet as kept her sister Carol can blow like no one's business TOO! GO Bunny a 4EVER DeBarge/Switch/Whiteheat/Chico/BD.....Hell all of the DeBarge clans....lol

Scriptgirl would you happen to know songs off of Bunny's solo album. If you do post them for me. Thanks

There have been a lot of DeBarge threads since the TV One's "Unsung" special, but you can always skip past them like I do with a lot of posts that doesn't interest me on this board.

I love Mrs. Knight and all, but this song, I can't stand it. It's too pop for my taste She's a talented songwriter, she could have made an entire record without any outside help other than her family. One thing about the Debarge family is that when they did solo projects, it's was mediocre at best, but when they wrote together, it's excellent.

I agree. Bunny is extremely talented. She could have written a great cd on her own. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

As a matter of fact, you can watch on youtube where they perform it on an episode of "Soul Train."

I could have sworn "Dance All Night" was used for a cruise ship commercial.
I never liked the title of Bunny's solo cd. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

DeBarge did redo this song when it was Bobby,James,Mark & Randy. Bad Boys is the name of that ALBUM!

I didn't think they would go very far without El.He was a very charismatic lead singer.

I heard some cuts off it and I didn't care for the cd. Debarge wasn't the same w/out El and Bunny. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

You can hear the Bobby DeBarge influence though. I like a few cuts off that release.
