One of my all time favourite MJ songs. Love it. That´s so funky! Such an underated song.

his last masterpiece , his last album with not a ton of producers/ collaborators

nice track , but not the strongest

The Teddy Riley stuff on the "Dangerous" album is superb. Love this track, despite what MJ fans think of me criticising him.

I never could understand the whole hype behind the "Dangerous" album.

I never really got into the album either aside from the singles lifted from it, ie:

"Black Or White"
"Remember the Time"
"In The Closet"
"Jam"

That was probably about it.....

He came from Motown and his solo stuff always combined melodies with rhythms. But suddenly on this album he made melody-less sounds, not songs, he could dance to. But has anyone ever danced to She Drives Me Wild or stuff in a disco?

Of D. I think he should have left out 4 or 5 songs out, Mjs best albums have not more than ten songs!

From the whole bunch only BOW and Heal The World are classic MJ imo, and they're all from the 80s. I like Gone Too Soon, too.

BOW, Give Into Me, Remember The Time and Jam are basically the only songs i like off the album. i sort of like the title track too

i love this song, the car horns in the background, the strong beat. Dangerous is very underrated album.

BTW, "She Drives Me Wild" and "Can't Let Her Get Away" got quite a bit of club play here in the states. NJS was HUGE in the states and Dangerous was one of the few albums that managed to blend traditional r&b and pop with NJS.

By the time he released Invincible, NJS was dead and hip-hop had taken over.

I opened a Heal The World threat last September and we pointed out that especially children love it.

Well, I totally forgot about Will You Be There! One of his best songs!!!

Dangerous was the first MJ album I listened to and is probably my favourite. Love this song, especially the ad-libs at the end. The rap always reminded me of LL Cool J, who could have given the song something extra and given that he did 'Serious Effect' with MJ, he could easily have been put on this.

The fans love dangerous, but i was speaking about the non-fans or occasional listeners. I still think the dangerous album was underrated compared to Bad, off the wall and thriller. But that is just my opinion. It didn't seem like it was appreciated (other than the fans) by the public, maybe because the child molestation allegations came out around the time and took a lot of shine off the album

That's not really true... all it's 8 singles where highly successfull and got lots of airplay at the time... well, almost everwhere except the US... but okay, maybe it has lost some of it's luster over the years... or got more forgotten then the other albums! Back then it wasn't really underrated!

This is a cool track - and let Mj do his thing with New Jack Swing.

As for Dangerous being under-rated, in comparison to Thriller everything MJ did or does will be under-rated and criticised for failing to sell a million kazillion.

Dangerous though is a strong solid album and for me showed a cool variety of styles. As for people who think that the album is weak, I think they need to relisten.

For me the only real weak song on it is Heal The World (a song I have to say I never got into).

For me songs like "Why You Wanna Trip on Me" and "Who Is It?" are classics. And Black or White and Jam still sound fresh.


For me the most underrated album of his is HiStory. It has some of his best work on there.
