How much real singing do you think is involved during her current tour?

None.

The entire show is mimed.

i don't get why this is such a big deal-she's been doing this for years, as have a lot of live performers. It is becoming the norm. there are only a few who can really sing and do so live, and BS isn't one of them.

I dunno...I think for shows like this, people go just as much to see the choreography and performance as much as to listen to the music. With all the dancing and stuff, it would be hard to keep up.

I remember watching Michael Jackson's Live In Budapest concert and by the time he got to singing Human Nature, he sounded terrible, all out of breath and stuff. You could tell right after that he was lipsynching, and it really did not matter (at least to me) cuz it was still a good show.

I don't know what is up with these young things these days? If you're healthy and fit and under 30, you should be able to pull this off for an hour and a half or two at least.

I really don't have too much of a problem with what Britney's doing tho. I *do* think however that they should potential let concert-goers know what's up before they buy their tickets tho. It's only fair for the people who want to see and hear an actual 100% live show. Surely the promoters can come up with euphemistic way of saying "lipsynched performance" in thier adverts

That clip is just her singing along to the track to make it look live. Like, if you're lip synching to a track, it wont look real unless you really sing along with it

Countless fans who have been to the concerts she's done so far say that at least 3 songs are live each time and she always does Everytime live.

I only posted the video to show the original poster why there wont be much live singing. That was it. I wasnt trying to make it a "deep" conversation.
