pre-taped singing for Britney tour

How much real singing do you think is involved during her current tour?

i don't get why this is such a big deal-she's been doing this for years, as have a lot of live performers. It is becoming the norm. there are only a few who can really sing and do so live, and BS isn't one of them.

Because after a while you would want to believe that she can do all by herself nod

Funny is how Madonna always did it sweaty and tired in her 20's to her 50's and Brit cant even handle it @ 16 confuse

lol That is just terrible. I bet she sounded like a million dollars with the backing track tho. I'm amazed she left herself open to this, why half sing along with a backing track? if you're gonna cheat, keep it switched off surely.

I bet that guy in the mixing desk aint no fan! and he's been fired. i love some youtube, hope this vid gets popular. and makes those youtube tv shows we see in the UK. Damn that was bad. falloff

Nothing to LOL about. You state the truth. There will be no real singing because she can't sing. She's a bimbo with lots of money and fans who don't realize what real talent is.

I like her precisely cause she's a piss-take, she earns millions of dollars for being so untalented, and i say go girl! i've never bought a fucking thing she's brought out or gone to see her but this is what the music industry is all about these days.

I think it's hilarious.

No wonder the industry is in it's deathbed.

it could be easily done. That thought crossed my mind especially after hearing the intro to 'Baby, One More Time' why would she be singing like that?.

I'm no expert, worse case scenario is she's half 'singing' along to the backing track (thinking she's safe behind how loud that is) and it's been isolated by the sound engineer.

Still amusing though.

I dunno...I think for shows like this, people go just as much to see the choreography and performance as much as to listen to the music. With all the dancing and stuff, it would be hard to keep up.

I remember watching Michael Jackson's Live In Budapest concert and by the time he got to singing Human Nature, he sounded terrible, all out of breath and stuff. You could tell right after that he was lipsynching, and it really did not matter (at least to me) cuz it was still a good show.

I thank God i saw him on the Bad tour, when he was at his peak and could sing and dance at the same time (alright, a near twenty minute break in the middle, leaving the band to jam) but still real.

I don't know what is up with these young things these days? If you're healthy and fit and under 30, you should be able to pull this off for an hour and a half or two at least.

confused

I saw the Bad tour too...'twas awesome!

I really don't have too much of a problem with what Britney's doing tho. I *do* think however that they should potential let concert-goers know what's up before they buy their tickets tho. It's only fair for the people who want to see and hear an actual 100% live show. Surely the promoters can come up with euphemistic way of saying "lipsynched performance" in thier adverts lol

If anyone has heard her sing live, they can tell you its very real. Britney's mic is on during her performances, but its turned low. Her vocals are still recorded through the soundboard. That clip is just her singing along to the track to make it look live. Like, if you're lip synching to a track, it wont look real unless you really sing along with it

Countless fans who have been to the concerts she's done so far say that at least 3 songs are live each time and she always does Everytime live.

Why does everyone think that video proves anything we didn't already know? She's audibly puffed, dancing and exhausted and you're sitting there chuckling to yourself that she sound shit?

You get up there and do the same and we'll judge your voice afterwards!

Well maybe she should give more singing and less dancing? I've never had a problem with Britney because for one, she's not a SINGER, she's an ENTERTAINER, so I already know what to expect at one of her shows. As long as I get my money's worth, im fine. I can sing and dance at the same time and still sing in key because I know when its time to sing and when its time to dance

If you consider her an entertainer, why are you wanting more singing and less dancing?

Look, I agree with you. She SHOULD sing live more.

I just don't get why people feel the need to post that damn "real microphone" audio in every damn Britney thread. Yes, she sucks after dancing for an entire show, how AMAZINGLY SHOCKING. Next!

Well, you said, "You get up there and do the same and we'll judge your voice afterwards!" All I was saying is maybe if she would do more singing and less dancing, she wouldnt be "audibly puffed" as you call it. Like I said, i've never had a problem with Britney. I am a fan of her music actually.

I only posted the video to show the original poster why there wont be much live singing. That was it. I wasnt trying to make it a "deep" conversation.

You could've explained why you put it there. I took it as a slant on her voice. So did everyone else in the thread laughing at her.
