Looking at the jamboxes from '83-'85! Man, they were expensive! What memories!!

IMO: Their Realistic mid 70's line of stereo components, were true contenders with the so called "high end" components from Pioneer, Marantz, Sansui, etc.
They were probably all made by the same manufacturer.

looking at the 1978 catelog. Shit was expensive . Cassette tape players and recorders were insane. Any why was every radio receiever brown with a silver face?

I can't believe how pricey everything is. How did people afford this stuff?

We couldn't. It had to be a very special occasion such as graduating from junior high to high school for a parent or relative to buy you something. A lot of folks still didn't get anything even then.

I didn't get an 8 Track recorder until 1982 when the price had drastically gone down and they were still too high then. I be damn if 8 Track tapes went out of style the very next year after I got a recorder.
