Absolutely. I almost hate to say this because I really despise new-agey wooley-headedness, but that album's had a recuperative effect on me at times.

I think I get too engrossed in the first half of the album; I'd never be able to sleep with this playing. "The Feeling Begins" makes my heart pound; it's just that intense.

yeah, weird stuff tends to put me to sleep. i like really complex albums when i'm going to sleep to music, because it's like counting sheep - i start paying attention to all the little details in the music, and WHAMMO - i'm asleep. this album is perfect for that...but i'm sure other people might want something a little simpler.

I can't fall asleep to music at all.

In fact it baffles me how you all do it.

I think "Zaar" and "Bread and Wine" are good for that purpose. "A Different Drum" and "The Feeling Begins," as well as the title track, aren't.

Brilliant, brilliant album. If my generation had any answer for A Love Supreme, this was it.
