The first time I ever heard this version was in the beginning of "CSI", I believe. I think he did a nice job with it...

It should go without saying that I love the original.
That being said, I absolutely adore what Gary Jules did to it. The cover is very haunting, melancholy, and mysterious. I can't think of Donnie Darko without hearing it (or vice versa). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis | |

I like Gary's version better than the original too.....sounds a little like Michael Stipe.
