Lame response from RCA regarding Annie Lennox DVD

RCA USA Respond To Reported Quality Issues On The Annie Lennox Collection DVD
We have taken some of your recent concerns regarding the Annie Lennox Collection DVD to RCA, USA.Your feedback is very important and we try to ensure that everything we release is of the highest standard. In response to some of the concerns raised please find answers to some of your questions below:

"In regards to the comments on poor quality of particular videos, the videos are sourced directly from the original masters. After checking with iTunes their source data looked perfect. The issue may be that consumers expect an upgraded or digitalised version of the actual video footage, and whilst there was a re-master of the audio, it was the intention to retain the videos in their original format. Nevertheless, the Digital Operations team have confirmed that all the Annie Lennox videos went through the stringent quality control checks that must be done for delivery to iTunes, and that all of the videos passed. The videos are sourced directly from the original masters.

The reason that the video 'Lovesong For A Vampire' was omitted from the compilation is that there were clearance issues with the movie footage in the video. The 'Shining Light' video was omitted from the compilation, as was 'Pattern of My Life', because the US release date would not allow the US to include these based on their delivery date. Both videos were not delivered until after the US deadline. The ‘Shining Light’ and ‘Pattern of My Life’ video are included on the ‘Super Deluxe’ package available now at iTunes for $19.99. The ‘Into The West' audio is also available on the ‘Super Deluxe’ version.

In regards to the no 'Play All' function on the DVD, that is how the disc was authored and intended to play."

I did not have a problem with the quality, but how can there not be a "Play All" function? What the fuck?

I seem to remember Aaliyah's DVD didn't have a "Play All" either... kept going back to the menu of videos to choose where you heard "We Need A Resolution" on a loop EVERY TIME YOU WERE ON THAT MENU.

What is the quality issue with Annie Lennox's DVD? Audio? Video?

I assume video. Mine is fine.

My complaint is that it goes back to Main Menu after you watch a single video.
mad

And does it pipe in with ONE Annie song on loop, that is actually louder than the video you just watched? That was my beef with Aaliyah's.

No, it goes quiet. It goes back to the main menu, which is the same picture as the album cover. The silence is annoying! lol.

Pick up Sade's 'Lovers Live' as well, then!
