I love this performance. "A Different Corner" is my favorite song by GM.

imagien how cool it would have been if he'd perform Outside with the police dress and the dancers? Anyway, I like both songs he did on this evening, he was really into laid back music. His version of The Long And Winding Road a few months after that is better than the original! | |

This version is also available on the "Ladies & Gentlemen The Best Of George Michael" DVD, along with the actual interview with Michael Parkinson, although it's not featured in its entirety. A lot of what he said about that cop that arrested him is edited out. I think that's cuz the guy actually sued him....either that or he tried to. Still, his original comments were broadcast back in 1998. Also he talks about busking and getting robbed by a skinhead. This part of the interview was actually not broadcast, yet it's included on the DVD. | |

the whole interview is on youtube, or is it teh edited version? The skinhead story harks back to his pre-Wham! days. the whole interview was funny and GM knew he would get back the Ukers sympathy- I'm sure he was stoned as hell! During these days he was at Letterman's show and I feel with George. David barely seems to no George and lacks any interest. George is trying to be fun but the people probably thought he was a fucked up pervert... George's best interviews are UK interviews with an audience. [Edited 2/22/09 16:09pm] | |
