I can't even believe she said, "its an effort to stay grounded" She is a Stinking entertaining. NOT jesus christ. She sings songs, shakes her butt on stage, take naked pictures. SHE does not heal the sick, blind, and help the poor. Any kind of entertainer who is arrogant has some nerve to think they are above anyone, when all they do is sing and dance. I could understand doctors, teachers and maybe police officers being arrogant, but not an entertainer.
OH i forgot to add, after the inaugural ball, she had a few interviews and she said, Obama made her want to be smart
I give her some credit because at least she is smart enough to know she's not smart. How exactly is she being a narcissist for saying that she is investing and spending her money wisely? That doesn't mean she thinks she is above anyone else. Maybe she's seen enough Behind The Music episodes to know that there have been a number of artists who obtained great wealth quickly and managed to squander their wealth just as fast (MC Hammer anyone?) so she doesn't want to do that. She wasn't asked about whether she thought she was like Jesus; she was just asked about why she's not spending her money like there's no tomorrow even though she is one of the richest women under 30 years of age. And who's to say that she hasn't already set up her own foundation for feeding starving children, or giving away college scholarships to gifted but underprivileged students? Maybe she wants to give back to others without making such a big deal about it.  | |

Well sort of. Not trying to speak for Erin, but what I think she's getting at is the very fact that, "She sings songs, shakes her butt on stage, take naked pictures. SHE does not heal the sick, blind, and help the poor." (your own words), why would you expect or care about anything else but what she (or any other artist/celebrity for that matter) does musically. This has been a personal pet peeve of mine about this forum for quite a while. The forum, by its own name Music: Non-Prince, indicates that the subject matter would focus on musical and not personal issues. But I don't live here, I occasionally visit.
