Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose: 'Slash or I will die before we reunite' ok.....
Axl Rose has said that there is no chance that he and his former Guns N' Roses bandmate Slash will reunite--saying that one of the pair will "die" before such an event could occur. The frontman told Billboard that the dispute between the pair would never be healed. He went on to say that Guns N' Roses, in its current guise, could tour in the near future. "In regards to Slash," he said, "I read a desperate fan's message about, 'What if one of us were to die, and looking back I had the possibility of a reunion now.' My thoughts are, 'Yeah, and while you're at the show your baby accidentally kicks a candle and burns your house down, killing himself and the rest of your family.' "Give me a f--king break. What's clear is that one of the two of us will die before a reunion and however sad, ugly, or unfortunate anyone views it, it is how it is. Those decisions were made a long time ago and reiterated year after year by one man. "There are acts that, once committed between individuals, they are what they are. To add insult to injury almost day after day, lapsing into year after year, for more than a decade, is a nightmare. Anyone putting his own personal entertainment above everything else is sickening." Speaking about a possible Guns N' Roses tour, he added, "No plans, but there's talk. Management and our promoters are really excited with the offers coming in both here and worldwide." Whilst I think Slash and Axl are a match made in heaven, Chinese Democracy goes to show that Axl survives much better without Slash than the other way round...
Velvet Revolver just ain't that good.

I own Chinese Democracy, but I sincerely doubt I'd want to be in a band with Axl. My Legacy

Velvet Revolver just ain't that good. And GNR (or what passes these days as GNR) isn't either... those 2 idiots belong together to create magic... a well, through Izzy and Duff in there and everything is perfect!

Chinese Democracy had some awesome tracks, namely Better, Shackler's Revenge, Catcher In The Rye and the title track...

^^Wow! 4 songs out of 14 after 14 years?? Great!
And out of those 4 songs I would say Shackler's revenge and Catcher in the rhye are total crap! My favourites (and in my humble opinion best songs) are Better, Madagascar, This I love and There was a time!

Velvet Revolver just ain't that good. Agree 100% about VR. Slash's playing on Appetite For Destruction always blows me away, but I struggle to find anything he's done since in any band or guest appearance that comes close to matching it. This is not an exit

If you don't like it big fucking deal. Your loss.

I imagine to them it's like the idea of getting back into a relationship with a lover you split up acrimoniously from 15+ years ago. Imagine everyone always going on at you how you were perfectly suited and you should go back out with her when in your mind it was a lifetime ago and you long since got over and past it. This is not an exit

Hmm, well... they're just not good, in my opinion! And by your reasoning I could say the same about VR! I think "Sucker Train Blues", "Do it for the kids", "Big machine", Fall to pieces", "Headspace", "Slither" and "Let it roll" for example are cool songs! The first album is better, than the second though! The problem I have/had with that band was mainly the singer... I think he sucks and is an arrogant ass... nothing worse than to have to watch that guy live! Axl may be an ass and crazy, but at least it's fun to watch him do his thing live! rocknrolldave said: Slash's playing on Appetite For Destruction always blows me away, but I struggle to find anything he's done since in any band or guest appearance that comes close to matching it.
Hmm... it's probably not that easy to match a mile stone album... but overall I thought "It's five o clock somwhere" was pretty good! They should get Eric Dover as the new singer for VR! Or Mike Monroe (from Hanoi Rocks)... now that would be something But to get back to topic... both of them haven't been doing overly well and to say that one tops the other is ridiculous... both had so-so efforts! And the VR stuff is certainly closer to the style established on AFD! More straightforward rock, instead of trying to create epics!

Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose: 'Slash or I will die before we reunite'
yeah. either that, or of course the very moment both of them desperately need money Has anyone tried unplugging the United States and plugging it back in?
