Shit the floor tickets keep selling out for each show so freaking quick, no matter how fast you click on a new date

They haven't sold them. They just have all been on sale yet.

Its the usual AEG live tactic. Keep back good seats and give the impression its fully sold out.

Nearer the shows we'll get "last minute production seats" available, or unsold VIP seats.

Its the typical hype machine.

Hello stranger! I did wonder if you would get caught up in the pre-sale today! I got in at 6.30am this morn just for the pre-sale & six hours later, got lucky with 4 tix for the 26th Aug Block 107 I think, not fab but hoping that it turns out like the Prince tix sale, with good seats being released nearer the time, all those VIP tix they were unable to get rid of biggrin

Take care x

The key is to keep checking on Ticketmaster over the coming days, weeks and months. You'll start to notice patterns.

Notice how so many people here have Block B, but not block A or C? Too many to be a coincidence. It is sold in batches.

They are creating the hype. They want to give the impression to the general public that these tickets are gold dust. The objective is to make a killing on Friday.

Pre-sale tickets are generally worse than public opening seats. They know the die hard fans will take any seat on offer. So they give them the worse ones. Meaning the better ones will tempt the casual buyer in later.

Wow! That old dried up hag is in need of a good humping! The bitterness in that womans article is truely sad! MJ's comeback is on and there is nothing she can do about, except to spew her venom! Insurance issues are already resolved! They wouldn't put shows on sale otherwise! And isn't she so original with that "Not so fasto, Jacko" line? You'd think she could come up with something better!

I just hate that! That die-hard fans and people who really make an effort to get the first - and presumably best - tickets are being ripped off like that. Shit! We can only hope that in a branding perspective it will cost them (AEG/Ticketmaster) in the long run - that they get shitty reviews and people AND artists will stop supporting them!

Damnit! Now I feel stupid spending over 300£ buying MJ tickets! F*** that! Any one ones to buy them!? ... mad

25 Nights so far!

Ok even i'm having a hard time wondering about his fitness levels to complete this, there are hard stints every other night, i wonder if he's going to sit down and sing for awhile, instead of dance all the way thru it.

Interesting.

That's what I think he'll do. IMO it would be foolish for him to try to put on the same kind of high-energy show with non-stop dancing like he did when he was in his 20s and 30s. He's 50 now, his body has alot of wear and tear on it and its known that he has back problems--I've also heard he has some arthritis, which wouldnt be surprising. I'm thinking his show is gonna be more ballad-heavy, with Michael focusing on his vocals more and dancing less. Perhaps a stripped-down, acoustic show, with Michael interacting with the audience and interjecting little anecdotes and jokes here and there. Or maybe that's just my wishful thinking lol!

Just bought my tickets! biggrin, going to the 8th September show. If you get tickets reserved you have to complete the first form in 2 minutes, the second in 5 minutes otherwise you'll have to wait again.

Michael Jackson Adds 16 More London Shows
March 11, 2009

Michael Jackson has added 16 more concerts to his summer residency at London's O2 Arena following strong demand for the pre-sale tickets today (March 11).

Pre-sale tickets for the AEG Live-promoted residency went on sale at 7am GMT to those who successfully entered the registration process for a chance to gain access to the pre-sale ticket offer. Tickets go on general sale from March 13.

There are now a total of 26 dates confirmed, running from July 8 to Sept. 10, according to Ticketmaster. Prices range from £50 ($68.82) to £75 ($103.23). However, dates have been regularly added throughout the day so that number could change.

The huge response from fans who successfully registered at michaeljacksonlive.com and via text for the pre-sale led to delays online today.

Chris Edmonds, managing director of Ticketmaster U.K., said in a statement: "We have witnessed an unprecedented level of demand for the Michael Jackson concerts at the O2. Unfortunately due to a technical issue, we were unable to facilitate all immediate ticket requests. Apologies to those fans who were unable to log on, but fans should keep on trying to purchase tickets."

According to AEG Live, 19 shows sold out their pre-sale allocation earlier today. The pre-sale allocation for each show is around half the number of total tickets available according to a spokeswoman for AEG Live.

The total ticket allocation for each O2 concert is not yet confirmed. While the venue has a total capacity of 23,000, many concerts are around 18,000.

Wow, you guys better hope and pray this man is going to be able to do all of these shows, considering his track record. Not trying to be a killjoy but he has health issues, I can't see him doing all of these shows but maybe he'll be strong enough to do it. We'll all find out this summer.
