Ghost is bland on production and follows that same pattern but, the lyrics are pretty good because there three dimensional.

Is It Scary is better produced but still samey however, the lyrics are his most personal (along with childhood, Stranger in Moscow, Morphine) and for that reason i think Is It Scary succeeds.

The video was a good statement too. gave us a good insight to what MJ wanted to say.

I hope he stops this stuff in the future though, the plastic pop production i mean. I want to see him do more with MUSIC, remember that word Mike?

The remix of "Is It Scary?" on the Cd single of Smile is pretty cool - downtempo groove mix, as are Mousse T's remixes of Ghost.

I don't really like the downtempo groove mix. It would be better if the drum machine was more subdued

this compilation is wonderful

These are a couple later-MJ tunes that I actually like (and there aren't many). Is It Scary is the jam...ranks up there with pre-Bad tunes imo. Ghosts is good too.
