I would like to state my take on this: I would agree that MJ has done things outside the social norm, such as sleeping with the kids around, but I also see that he has a natural affinity with children, and He can relate to them better. Yes, he has childhood issues that to this day, he has to deal with and overcome. Plus, he has to learn that what he feels is right, he has to use wisdom. When it comes to life, he thinks ouside of the box. Emmanuel Lewis and Macaulky Culkin testified that Micheal never touched them in an unusual way. More celebrity children at that time had no complaints, either. What did they have to gain by lying? Culkin is a godfather to MJ's children, an opportunity I doubt he would take if MJ molested him. Jordan Chandler admitted that these allegations were made up and he no longer have connections with his parents. He's even tried to kill his father. If you look at the 1993 World Music Awards, Chandler and his sister were very comfortable around MJ. Also with the Living With Micheal documentary where the Arvizo kid was holding his hand without resistance and spoke well of him. Would you be comfortable around someone whom molested you? Body language speaks volumes. The second victim's parents were accused of welfare fraud and would con celebrities out of money. Some of them testified. Another thing to consider: if you were molested, would you go to the police, who has power to enforce the law or a lawyer. I believe that any lawyer in their right mind would like to see a police report before proceeding to litigation. I am not sure, but I heard that California law now states that you cannot pursue a civil case if a criminal case has been tried. These folks wanted money. His love of children was used to their advantage, and they've gained from it. I believe that people should think and analyze for themselves, instead of having the media tell them anything. I also believe that there's more to this case. A journalist named Aphrodite Jones wrote a book on the case, said that she thought he was guilty until she investigate and saw something that changed her mind. I didn't purchase the book as of yet. For those who still feel that he's guilty, well that's just what you believe.

Okay, this is when he went from being cute to creepy for me. There's nothing hot about a guy who hangs out with little kids or when you do go out he brings kids along and they're not even his. lol

And when he reached those 30s and 40s, it definately made him look like a child molester because damn, just how long does he want his childhood to last? He's been a child for over 20 years. Even the little kiddies that he used to play with in the 1980s are all grown up and more mature than he is.

This is what I used to wonder. Sure you try to recapture your youth but after awhile it's time to move on. You accept what you missed or lost and adapt.

sure it's easy to say that if it hasn't happened to you. Can you honestly say if you were mj and lived the same life you would come out fine and dandy? i don't think it's just him , anybody who lived that life was bound to be messed up

I personally think he has regress emotionally as he has gotten older to the point that he is probably bordering on emotionally retardation. The fact he obviously didn't know where to stop when it came to the plastic surgery or the fact that he mentions casually that didn't see what was wrong with sharing his bed with children, reinforces that.

He seemed a lot wiser when he was a child and teenager.

that is so demeaning to me- I hate to even see it..Folk need to quit that mess-

somehow when I see his name shorten like that, lynchings come to mind. I think of how black men were lynched and their private parts were cut off and stuffed into their mouths- and then they were burned alive.

I can't think of another famous person who has been so lynched by the media- deservedly or not- to the point where they have degradated (sp) the only thing he truly has- [b]his name[/b.

his name is Michael Joseph Jackson- think about who started the Jacko mess and ask yourself if you wanna be associated with characters like that.

Get over yourself, puh-leeze!!! He's called Jacko because that's what the press calls him...if you're seeing a lynch mob when you see that name, maybe there's a pill you need to take for that?

Agreed! But time would have been better spent talking to a wall instead of posting that here!

Anyway, isn't it a sad state of world where any grown up man playing ballgames with children, like in Moonwalker, is considered a loon and crazy??? Not that I personally care for children, have much contact with children or desire to play with children... but jeez, if someone likes to be around children, because they're probably the only ones not trying to take advantage of him, then that certainly doesn't make him a loon! And he don't just hang out with children... just have a look at his other friends!

Considering that he didn't have a childhood, I could see him hanging out with teenage kids around the "Thriller" era because he would have been in his mid 20s and a lot of males are still immature until their late 20s and act like teenagers themselves. It would have looked strange as hell but still would have been halfway understandable. But these kids weren't even teens yet and a man in his mid 20s that acts like he's 9 years old is ready for the Funny Farm. And then he got in his 30s and was still running around with pre-teens. When he got in his 40s, at least he seemed to have graduated to teenagers. But a man in his 40s running around with teenagers looks even more messed up than a younger man running around with pre teens.

And when he reached those 30s and 40s, it definately made him look like a child molester because damn, just how long does he want his childhood to last? He's been a child for over 20 years. Even the little kiddies that he used to play with in the 1980s are all grown up and more mature than he is.

dude didn't have alot of real friends. Someone was telling me how that story of him walking around looking for someone to talk to was true. She worked at this store in Encino and she would see him walking around or riding his bike looking really lonely, but she said nobody would really interact with him because....you know.....he's Michael Jackson lol

and this was around Off The Wall and Thriller

Around THAT point in time, Michael's 2 remaining best friends were his sisters Latoya & Janet. But after Janet got married to her 1st husband (James DeBarge) and Latoya was kidnapped/mind-controlled by Jack Gordan, Michael was really alone.

It's one thing if fans think outside the box, and of course knowing all the details points to his innocence, but do you think it's nice that someone who has done so much for music is being called horrible names that he couldn't help but have brought upon himself? I would also suggest you think outside the box: if you were accused once, would you still continue being so close and televise it or just back up after the first accusation?

I certainly don't think it's easy. A lot of assistance is needed along the way to recover. Whether he got that or not, I don't know. But sometimes you can't get things back. That's just how life is. You're admitting he's messed up. Perhaps it didn't have to be that way or at least to the extent that it is.

Hmm, well.... if your stubborn, feel you did nothing wrong and got nothing to hide you probably don't back up...I mean, somehow he has to live his life for himself and not for a public image!

He is certainly not innocent in how everything evolved, but to blame everything on him is stupid too... there are many factors... and the media plays a big part in it!

I wouldn't say that. I'm sure they enjoy riding his llamas and being bought expensive stuff, even if it is gaudy urns and life-sized replicas of Charlie Chaplin.

Even if you didn't have a childhood, doesn't mean as an adult you can relive it in all its innocent glory. An adult can only pretend to be a child cause unless hes mentally lacking the brain doesn't function that way. As a child the brain is growing and experiencing that's the whole "wonder" comes into play.

An adult brain is already matured, it doesn't change or create new pathways.

So this whole "never had a childhood" is bullshit excuse for him sleeping with lil boys.
