you can find just about any damn song with a video on the album cover...but damn if you can't buy half of it (without paying a fortune anyway) lol

Me, too but I can't burn from IMEEM.

If they put obscure songs on iTunes for instance, I would definitely pay for them.

You could burn them if you have a digital wire with a plug for your pc on one end, and with stereo-plugs on the other end.
Those stero-plugs can be connected to a cd-burner "et voila". I've recorded a lot of imeem-tracks like that.

i can't wait until there are digital download music shops online run by and for people who like rare, out of print and eclectic music. not that anything can take the place of owning the physical copy of a rare album, but for those of us who don't wanna pony up the big bucks for a collectible, could you imagine if there was a digital dusty grooves online wrecka stow out there with a selection as sweet as the store itself?

hmmm.....did you get instructions how to download & install the program on your pc ?
And after that you first have to update your spending-balance by donating via PayPal or another payment-source which is connected to the site.
If you have achieved all those steps , then you will see that there are yellow-ish download-buttons visible at the end of every track.
Hope this might help, otherwise you could email their helpservice ?

Funny that this should come up now.
Just yesterday I received an email from Concord Music Group (who has acquired quite a few classic labels over the years - http://www.concordmusicgr...om/labels/) announcing that they're offering MP3 downloads as another acquisition method (along with CDs & SACDs).

They also have a Free Downloads area:

Remember, that's where the Moondog album came from.

that's fantastic.

i think itunes has us all in a mental chokehold thinking that there aren't other good alternatives for digital music shopping. i keep forgetting that amazon.com has a perfectly great mp3 selection...probably even better and more varied than iTunes...

A cover version of this tune is currently used on a UK TV commercial. I think it's advertising Weight Watchers food. I'm unsure.

I'm sure you know, you can use Free You Tube to iPod converter software. Yeah, I would do the same..I find the current digital stores to be narrow in scope. That's why I loved old Napster, I think the current digital download stores are missing out on millions.
