2 tv-appearances www.dailymotion.com/searc...tion_music www.dailymotion.com/searc...nd-s_music Kool, Thanks!!!! This takes me back!!!! ... Yeah, i was really surprised to find those clips online. Great to see what was showcased back then in music-episodes on tv. I believe that's keyboardist Barnaby Finch in both clips. Beautiful ladies singing in the background, in the "Every Generation"-tv appearance. The lady standing on the right who also looks somewhat like Patrice Rushen, lol. She could be Debra, though i'm not shure [Edited 2/19/09 20:07pm]

If I had to pick my Top 10 fav albums, Solid Ground would be tied for #1, if not #1. Ronnie is THE BEST! I hate that he fell off in the 80's and changed his sound. He would have had more longevity if he just stayed true to his art.
The early stuff STILL holds up today!

The early stuff STILL holds up today! Y'know, he did an album in 2004, called Everlasting that was kind of a return to his late 70's early 80's sound. It probably helped that he had Larry Dunn return as a co-collaborator.... ... I like, "Everlasting, "I'll Be Leavin," "If You Ain't Busy," "Soul Eyes," & "Do You Beleive." Man, you need to start a Larry Dunn Appreciation Thread. His signiture Polymoog Synth sound is music heaven to my ears! Love the stuff he did with Caldera, Ramsey, Sylvia St. James, Level 42 & EWF of course. Have you heard "People" by Level 42? That's one of my favorite albums of all-time!!!! Beautiful piece.... Rest in peace, Jon.... ... It's a wonderful LP indeed. I dig most of his 70's work, and still like to check someday his 1982-project, "Romantico"

Larry = And indeed so much great collabos/productions he did for many artists. He did also a wonderful speech when EW&F was inducted at the HOF. Check a part of that in the clip on his myspace : www.myspace.com/larrydunn And he recently joined a partly-reunited formation of Rufus www.officialrufus.com www.myspace.com/officialrufus

[Edited 2/20/09 8:55am] Ndeed, Dude is way underappreciated!!! and Level 42 is one of my favorite groups!! "People" is akool, mellow track, nice blend of Mike Lindup on keys and vocals, and Mark King's Bass -- nice production by Larry Dunn and Verdine White... ...
