Stevie Wonder upset about mother's autobio...

Stevie Wonder’s is mad at his mom. Stevie’s mom, Lula Hardaway, has written a book about her life and Stevie. Stevie is upset about some of the contents of the book and he wants nothing to do with it. The book, “Blind Faith: The Miraculous Journey of Lula Hardway” is out in stores now. In the book, Lula talks about Stevie losing his virginity to a prostitute and how Stevie’s father beat her and forced her into prostitution. http://www.wdasfm.com/per...tml#the411

His mother sounds like a real loser. Like anyone would want to read her autobiography if she wasn't his mother.

That's a bit harsh no? I'm sure it's her real story and she raised Stevie up in loving atmosphere as best she could. Or that's the sugarcoated Motown story of "Little Stevie" anyway. This book will no doubt dish the dirt for sales.

I can understand Stevie being upset at that public revelation.

and how Stevie’s father beat her and forced her into prostitution. http://www.wdasfm.com/per...tml#the411

If that's the truth (and I hope Ms. Hardaway wouldn't make it up), then it seems like something that would be essential to the story of Stevie's home life.

Not harsh if she talked to him first, but i guarantee she just got it published and he found out after. And this goes back 40-50 years to his youth. No one needs dirt dug up that far back, esp Stevie. That doesn't mean anything he does should be treated with kid's gloves, but he's done no one harm to get any bad press, esp from a family member. That's just low.
Like Jamie Fox said "I'm not sayin she's on crack...but it's just a little crack-ish"

I personally could not give a fuck what he has done, I have no interest in what happened in his mums life, I love the message he gives in his music and I feel him when I put on that cd...

Jesus, when will people realise that people in the fame game deserve privacy?

It's unfortunately a career hazard.

Harlepolis

Wow! Sounds like that one is going to be a headliner.

I hope it isn't too dirt-ridden a biography; when it gets like that really nobody truly wins and the media has a blitz on it forever.
