Exactly. A lot of the artists people are naming here are commercially successful acts, but not critically acclaimed. To me overrated artists are artists who are constantly praised my music critics, but whose records I don't enjoy. Some overrated artists to me are U2, REM, Coldplay Amy Winehouse and Anthony and the Johnsons.
