Smart idea....I go on the site all the time but haven't been in a day or two so this is new. I can't wait to see this (online since I'm in the states). The news about the double disc edition is semi exciting. Only one totally new recording ("Fundemental" had two bonus tracks besides remixes) and the rest are "dubs", which I'm not a huge fan of, but a collaboration with Phillip Oakley...the eighties are back!

do you think Prince does know PSB? I was shocked (and turned off) when he said he did not know While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

I just watched that medley.... I can't say it was exactly inspiring...
Neil sounded OK, but then again he was singing backed with his own vocals from the original songs from the albums.... The only reason I watched is to see Lady GaGa with them.... She performed the female part in "What Have I Done To Deserve This?" and the background vocal in "West End Girls".... Now I actually like Lady GaGa's music and her attitude but I don't think she has quite enough soul in her voice to fill the shoes of the late Dusty Springfield.... I did like when Brandon Flowers (from the Killers) performed "It's A Sin" with Neil and he looked like he was a fan of the music as he was much more lively performing "West End Girls" in the end than Lady Ga Ga was.... His performance almost made me forgive him for that stupid grammar error in the otherwise catchy song "Human" by his band The Killers. edit: almost forgot... here's the medley: [Edited 2/18/09 15:05pm]

they obviously had to do the hits that they are most remembered for by the UK public...although it was good they threw in a couple of new ones....you didn't really expect them to perform 'king's cross' or 'your funny uncle' did u

Brandon Flowers looked like he was having fun, though they could have given him more to do I thought....and more of West End Girls especially!
I thought the whole night was a bit shite to be honest. The presenters weren't funny as always (when are they gonna learn, and drop the dodgy "jokes" altogether), the winners were predictable (ie. its always those that perform, or are in attendance for the most part...no AC/DC there so hence no awards, for example), Take That mimmed really badly and the dancers round their platform were so obviously fake, and Girls Aloud were soooo embarrassing when they went to get the Best Single award, so obviously drunk!! www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

Do you think he would have helped the show? haha!! Well, it couldnt have got alot worse. Slightly hypocritical not to give George an award for drug issues when they are plying all the celebs there with free booze!! And I like the Pet Shop Boys but when did they last contribute something to music that was outstanding? www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!
