In April 1993,the two of them attended Prince's concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York.During intermission, they were spotted in the lobby, joking and laughing with each other like they were good friends...lol Especially coming from Whitney. I heard that,in the late 90s or so when Whitney was going through the drug problems,Madonna actually sent her some flowers and a nice note.I guess they made up? lol . [Edited 2/18/09 6:50am]

Barbara Streisand Vs Donna Summer
I don't know what exactly went wrong in that recording session, but when both of them commented about it later, they were kinda cagey about it. SoulAlive, you can let us know if you're fimiliar with it.

I read once that Donna was trying so hard to outsing Babs that she fell off of her damn chair. <--- Donna falling off chair ... [Edited 2/18/09 6:58am]

Barbara was horrified about doing this song. She knew that disco was Donna's thing and she didn't really like playing second fiddle to the "Disco Queen".The first recording session was filled with drama...lol...when the two singers took a break,Barbra whispered to her assisant "Why is she trying to out-sing me? I thought this was supposed to be a duet!". In the end,it was decided that both ladies should record their parts separately.

Does anyone know what happen between Cher and Miss Ross, I heard they were friends but diana stole cher's boyfriend.

The Cher-Diana Ross thing, I don't think there was a beef. I mean I never heard either of them comment about it, maybe because no one asked about how Gene picked them both or how Diana got Gene when Cher had him, lol. But didn't Gene leave Diana for Liza Minnelli or something?
Diana vs. Barbra: I don't think Barbra has beef but Diana mentioned that as much as she looked up to Barbra, she felt Barbra was "intimidating". The Barbra/Donna situation was probably that Barbra hated disco, Donna was drunk (I think), and both of them were trying to outsing each other. That said, Donna still respects Barbra as a singer.

In regards to the whole Madonna Vs Janet thing. A gay magazine interviewed Janet during the discipline era and asked her what she thought about the internet feud with her and Madonna fans.
She laughed and said that the fans are really defensive over their favourite artists and said that Madonna has done a lot for women artists (something to that extent). So there aint much of a problem anymore between the two. [Edited 2/18/09 9:39am]

[Edited 2/18/09 9:39am] There is a Q Magazine where Janet spoke specifically about Madonna's tour and compared her to Michael saying how his was so much better. I don't know why I'm the only one who seems to remember this since it was during Janet's peak. I think I still have the magazine but at my parents house. There may not be a feud but clearly Janet wasn't looking to meet with Madonna over drinks. Every time this comes up I think of that article. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Not sure but I remembe thinking it was odd because Madonna's shows had provedn to be very well done and she and MJ shared a lot of the same production people. The next time I go home I'm looking for this magazine 'cause I swear this comes up at least once a year. Hoping my folks didn't throw it out with the rest of my Jackson memorabilia.
