And you are absolutely right about that. I was thinking the same thing last nite...she's gone for now, but I think she has a very good chance of coming back for the wildcard pick. The girl can sing--even tho she's a drama queen--and you know how the producers love contestants who are "hot topics"

The reason why "American Idiot" has been on so long is because people love the insane contestants who DON'T make it. After they pick their contestants, that's when the show has to find other reasons to get headlines like Sanjaya's hairdos or Clay Aiken re-emerging as a "wildcard" or one of them dropped for being in porn or something. | |

It just goes to show how people these days are happy with the simplest bunch of stripped down nothing these days. I mean, shit hop, reality shows, fools that can't sing singing acapella. Even people that can sing are boring as hell if they are just standing there singing with no instruments behind them. As long as both TV and radio can sell the public the simpler things in life and the public doesn't have the good sense to realize it and raise hell about it, they will continue it from now on because it's extremely cheap. It's like prostitution. If a pimp can sell a two dollar crack ho for the same price as a high class call girl, he's gonna do it.

And you know your show is bullshit when people spend their time discussing one contestant's different hairdos and asking why does he stay on the show when he can't sing worth shit? What pisses me off is, it's not just a matter of "don't watch the show if you don't like it". I can't escape it. They discuss it on "The Today Show", they discuss it on "Larry King Live", "Entertainment Weekly", the "E" Channel, VH1, The TV Guide Channel. They spend more time discussing it on those shows all week than the amount of time the actual show lasts. And then there's that white judge that's a fucking insulting asshole to those contestants. I heard him on one of those shows insulting some girl that was singing Heart's "Magic Man" telling her that she chose a song he's never heard of. Another time, some girl was singing a song from the 1970s by a white male singer called "All By Myself", and the idiot told her if she was going to sing a Celine Dion song, she had better do it right. I don't know if Celine remade that song or not but the idiot didn't seem to have any knowledge that Celine was not the original singer of that song. No wonder no good music comes from that show, the fucking judges don't know a damn thing about music themselves. I wish they would start letting trashy gangsta rappers audition for that show. I'd love to see that damn judge insult one of those thugs and watch him get his stuck up, English accent talking, ass beat down right there on national television.
