These wedding party dances have been trendy for a coupla years now. I think SCNDLS might have started a thread with some last year. I like the ones where brides and grooms start pop lockin' in the middle of their waltzes! lol

I've been wondering the same thing! I've been to 2 weddings in the past 6 months and they did the same thing at both weddings and little kids were doing it too. Even my friend who chaperoned a 3rd grade dance said they were doing "The Thriller."

You know. It takes some pretty good dancers to pull off all those Thriller moves. That has to be my daughter's favorite part of 13 Going On 30.

In all seriousness, it does go to show what great classic choreography is and how it puts a lasting impression on you. Compare that to the random flailing arms and legs about with no real thought put into it that all the Chris Browns and Ushers of the world do.
