SONGS that you only like the firs 15-45 seconds of? Skipping thru alot of songs on my IPOD i realize i only like the first few seconds on alot of 'em.
mainly with sly and the family stone for me. Brave And Strong first 30 seconds are AMAZING then im over it lol  | |

Haha. A couple weeks ago when I met up with my sister for supper, this song came on in my Jeep and she goes, "Wow, not a song I would have guessed you would have been listening to, if I guessed a thousand songs".

Well I don't know about the FIRST 15-45 seconds but there are a bunch of b-boy breakbeats or drum breaks where that is the only part of the song I really know (but I know well) because it is usually juggled/looped on the turntables. | |

And while I can't say that I don't like the rest of the song (far from it), the first few seconds of the dub version of Janet Jackson's "What Have You Done For Me Lately" where it's played backwards is the best part of the track, I always thought.
There are many songs where I thought the intros were the best part, but not the only good part. | |
