I do love this song, and 5 is actually my favorite Lenny Kravitz album I think I'm the only one that loves that album though

Still, that didn't stop me from buying the album, as it was actually this very song that compelled me to do so.

I did actually like this album quite a bit, but I could never really get into this song. It was sort of evidence to me that Lenny has no real musical soul and that he'll try on any style for the sake of pastiche without investing much originality into it.

The whole album was sort of like that I though, even though I liked it a lot. It was pretty much the end of Lenny for me, no matter how much I liked most of the individual tracks.

"5" was actually the first Lenny Kravitz album that ever I owned.

Also, I've never heard the remixes to this song, but I was tempted to by the 12inch at a record fair a few years back....there's one coming up very soon.

There was this kid in school some friends and I used to call Black Velveteen in reference to this song. Never knew what he thought of the nickname, but believe me, it suited him.

YES! finally this song is getting some love! This is my favorite song on "5" (which is a great album by the way). I love the video too!
