I can't find the stub for a Bar-Kays concert, but I have a nice pic.batting eyes In Greenville they never put seats on the floor. You just got there early and got as close to the stage as possible. I was always near the stage.

I wish I could remember the year. hmmm I know it was written on the back, but I don't feel like digging up the original. hmph!

I used to have a Salt N Pepa ticket stub from 1994, but that got stolen in '98 so I don't have that anymore. Bummer.

The "oldest" ones that I have now are from a George Clinton show in 2002 and a couple more from Prince's Aussie tour the following year....although Ticketek f*cked up and sent me a recepit for his Brisbane show instead of the one in Sydney.

Plus I lost the actual ticket on the night of the gig, so now I just have the receipt on its own.

I've got a couple of ticket stubs from John Blackwell's drum clinic in 2005 as well.

I think I still have my stubs from these two concerts somewhere.

The oldest stub I have is Rick James (with Cameo and One Way), Oakland Coliseum August ? 1982.

My oldest Prince stub is from early 1983 from the 1999 tour at the Oakland Coliseum. Got lucky at this concert...the Time and Vanity 6 performed. The concerts just before Oakland in LA, the Time did not perform.

Rick played both the Cow Palace in SF and at the Oakland Coliseum that tour (Throwin' Down Tour). I tried to get tix to see Rick at the Cow Palace but they were sold out. Then he added another show at the Coliseum and that is the show I went to.

Well, damn...sue me. lol It was a long time ago, and all I know is I remember seeing Prince open for Rick on the Fire It Up tour. Rick was throwing "joints" into the audience and they were throwing them on stage at him. I saw Rick many times so forgive me if I can't remember exactly which was which. I was probably high. weed It was still the best concert I have ever seen. woot!

I know exactly what you mean. Some of the concerts I went to were 20 or 25 years ago. So if I am off on an exact date or venue big deal.

Hell Prince alone I have seen at the Oakland Coliseum/Arena (several times), Cow Palace in SF, San Jose State Event center, HP pavilion in San Jose (several times), The Fillmore in SF, Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Concord Pavilion, etc.....on 7 or 8 different tours over a span of like 25 years.

nod The last time I saw Rick was in Merrilville, Indiana right before he died. Saw him too many times, but the concert I remember is the one with Prince. I'd never seen him and I loved "Soft & Wet." When I laid eyes on Prince, I forgot about Rick. boxed

Hell, I saw The Brother's Johnson in the 80's and don't remember how I got home after. lol I wish I'd saved all my stubs. sad
