Sister Funk - The funkiest female singers

We have another rocker coming up on our radio show Midnight Soulstice this Friday! Inspired by the recent discussions about female Funk singers, we decided to break out our rarest and most inspiring songs by the Sisters of Funk. Tune in from 11 pm - 1 am Eastern Time at www.wrir.org and listen to two hours of hot sister Funk!

Among the tunes you'll get to hear:

Stovall Sisters - Hang on in there

Ann Alford - Gotta get me a job

Honey and the Bees - Love Addict

Jackson Sisters - I believe in miracles

Marie Queenie Lyons - See and don't see

Marva Whitney - Things got to get better

Lyn Collins - Things got to get better

Betty Davis - They say I'm different

Laura Lee[/b] - Crumbs off the Table

Yvonne Fair - Let your hair down

Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings - Just dropped in to see what condition my condition is in

Ike & Tina Turner - Bold Soul Sister
