I'm sorry but 24-7 Spyz do not have a song called "Millenium Gumbo". They have a LP called "Gumbo Millenuim". And "Valdez" off that LP is right up there with "Candy" by Cameo.

Funkenstein you're entitled to your opinion, but I still love ya!! wink That's what's cool about the Org. We can all agree to disagree.

My bad man you are right on! Like how you identified the song I was eluding to.

Spyz are pure funk with Hendrix on guitar!!!!!

Here's my take on the issue of whether a music genre is gay-connected or not:

Music is supposed to be universal in terms of love or hate for it. Music, if done right, can bring people of all forms together. I feel blues, rock 'n' roll, soul, pop, Motown, funk, etc., brings people together. There's as much a straight and bisexual connection to funk as there is a gay, lesbian and transsexual connection to it.

If it's great music, it'll attract all kinds of listeners no matter what race, age, religion, gender or orientation you fall under.

That's my take on it.

A good take nod

I personally don't think funk is "gay" per se, but as Vainandy pointed out earlier, ShitHop robbed music of its individuality. Now we have a bunch of hypermasculine retards running around in videos overcompensating for lack of intelligence and talent by parading material things, utilizing poor grammar and using women as props.

What made music so interesting from the inception of Rock and Roll through the 1980's) was that it was about experimentation, regardless of it being a hit or miss. All genres did it and the visual side of it is what kept people engaged to the art.

Funk is no different than rock or pop, blues or jazz. Certain artist are more out there than others. Some intentionally, some by implications. Song titles alone and outfits don't necessarily dictate a music being "gay". If anything, it made the music more entertaining.

Kudos to the above.Great post!
