Found these links :
- From a messageboard of a Phil Spector-yahoogroup : "James Botticelli wrote : As a former soul collector I had found two records on this label by We The People, fronted by Landy McNeil who was previously a member in good standing of The Satisfactions who in 1970 had a minor R&B hit with "One Light Two Lights", parodying the famous Paul Revere story about spotting Brits entering Boston Harbor to put down the Revolution. Of course in that song no Brits were involved, the one light two light signal was sent by the protagonist's girlfriend who would signal from the house when her parents had left. The singer, meanwhile, sung the he "in the bushes hiding would be.....!" We The People's records were released on Lion in '74 and the lyrics were, as one would suspect, more socially aware. Something to the effect that if we can put people on the moon why can't we then (you fill in the blank!)" http://launch.dir.groups....sage/35060 - A brief segment in a Tymes-biography : "...The two ladies they brought in were Terri Gonzales (soprano) and Melanie Moore (2nd soprano, alto). At that time Terri was twenty-three years old, a former actress and a model and a member of a New York group called We The People, who used to record for such labels as Map City, Verve and Lion in the first half of the 70s..." www.soulexpress.net/tymes2.htm - A Youtube-soundclip of Landy McNeil : There also might be some people on http://soulfuldetroit.com/forum/ who are specialised in the early years of soul. I know everything there is to know about We the People, but a simple dare won't do the trick.
You're gonna have to double-dog dare (or even TRIPLE-dog dare) me to spill the beans. J/K, couldn't pass up the "A Christmas Story" joke!

Youtube's a good source to share rare grooves with new listeners It's funny tho, years ago i thought that singles were released most of the time on both 45 and 12, but discovering this world of 45-collectors online changed my whole perspective on the subject, lol.
