Lo-Key - I Got A Thang For You - Question What is the name of the guy in the purple shirt and hat, also the brown jacket and hat, that sings...
My lemon drop My lollipop Girl, candy...must be your name! in this video: I'm asking because I've been on the phone for the last 4 hours with a friend that I haven't talked to in 15 years...strolling all up and down memory lane and this heffa just reminded me of how I was the only one in our clique that adored him and I can't remember his name for shit! Somebody I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

[Edited 2/4/09 9:34am] Prof T had the had. Lance wore the "high-top fade". **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

The second album was titled back to da howse. I liked the second album better than the first. The second album was very underrated. I TOTALLY forgot about "Back 2 da House". I had it for a while and never got into it. I eventually sold it at a resale shop. If I see it again, I might get it another try. I wasn't that impressed with the first album. It was a bit too cheesy and corny. All of the skits and Shawonda stores were annoying. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

It was a bit too cheesy and corny. All of the skits and Shawonda stores were annoying. Yeah i hated shawonda too. It was none of that crap on the second album that's why i say it was a lot better. The first half of the album were party tunes and the second half were ballads. If you dig prof t's michael cooperesque vocals then you will definitely dig the ballads on this album. He also does a tribute song to the isley brothers on one song and he sounds like he ripped ronald's voice right out of his throat. It's one song called we ain't right that's hilarious where he sings about him and another woman cheating on their respective mates and they're sneaking in hotels and trojans in the room. Prof t dialouges at the end of the song: aww girl we can't keep going like this, we gonna end up on oprah I don't know bout you girl but i'm goin to church in the mornin aww naw naw naw naw naw naw naw naw we ain't right Don't laugh at my funk

One of my fav groups outta Fltyetyme along side Solo (remember them). Lance & Prof T continued working with Jam & Lewis well after they left Lo-Key. They were in-house writers & producers. I still keep in touch with Lance. I miss those good 'ol days

I dusted off this cd this weekend. I must say it is pretty bad. I did manage to re-discover "I Wanna Make U Mine". That song was decent and could have been a single. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

U aint never lied. I hum those boards under the 2nd singers vocals all day, most days. I'd pay money for the music w/ the background and no lead vocals. That thang is cold.

I dont think I could take the uptempo's off their first CD anymore. But I still love the slow jams like "Don't you know" (with Jellybean Johnson doing a nice solo), "hey there pretty lady" "stay awhile" aswell as a few others like "i wanna make you mine".
I do own their 2nd CD too, but have yet to play it.
