the next big pop phenomenon

I'm looking forward to the next big thing in popular music. Do you guys think they'll ever be a new huge musical phenomenon like Michael Jackson, Elvis, The Beatles, or even Prince in the near or distant future. Are there any now that I'm not seeing?

The way music is going, I dont see anyone leaving a mark. Most of these songs out are just the "IN" songs. Something to make you dance. No real meaning behind it.

I doubt those two slugs will be "pop phenomenons". Both of them sound like "be here, gone tomorrow" folks. Once they both tried to be adult, they'll cut them loose and grab on to the next pop pranksters. lol

as the most profitable days of the music industry are going to the toilet, so is the possibility of the next big pop phenomenon. I am predicting a bunch of one hit wonders, as few people are actually buying entire albums now.
