So true! Anyway, according to Chris' stylist, he feels bad about what he did to Rihanna: Chris Brown 'Feels Very Bad,' Says Stylist By Tiffany McGee and Oliver Jones Chris Brown, who has not been seen publicly since allegedly assaulting girlfriend Rihanna, is a "good kid" who "feels very bad" about what has happened, his friend and stylist tells PEOPLE exclusively. "Chris is all right. He's a good kid. He feels very bad that something like this has happened," his longtime wardrobe stylist Mike B. tells PEOPLE. Another friend echoes that sentiment, telling PEOPLE, "You can tell everybody that Chris really feels bad about the whole situation, about it coming out the way that it happened, the way he went about it, the way she went about it ... it's just a wack situation." As for what really happened, the friend says the story is "not as bad as everybody is trying to gas it up to be." After the alleged altercation between the pair on Sunday, Brown was booked on a felony criminal threat charge. A police source with knowledge of the case says Rihanna suffered a black eye as well as a split lip and contusions on her face. Asked if Brown, 19, and Rihanna, 20, have spoken since the incident, the friend says, "I can't say. Maybe they don't want anybody to know whether they've spoken or not. You have to wait for Chris to say something." Meanwhile, Brown's older sister Lytell "Tootie" Bundy is saying that the alleged incident was totally out of character for Brown. "He's always been a good boy," Bundy tells Extra. "He's coping ... He's doing as ... as to be expected." Stylist Mike B. encourages fans to keep Brown and Rihanna in their thoughts. "They're both blessed and we just got to send them our prayers." It's "not that bad," according to Chris' people, but she has a black eye supposedly swollen shut, and swellings on her face. Hmm.....Now this drama is starting to remind me of the film "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate." "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. It should have been obvious this was not the real deal to anyone that has an ounce of goose sense - Rihanna and Chris Brown had their altercation five miles from Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party. The outfits they both were wearing was still on them. her hairdo was nothing like the one in the fake pic being passed around. The lead detective says he is not letting the photos out of secure control so the media can't publish them. Well, maybe you're the only doing side-by-side comparisons of pictures with a magnifying glass. I couldn't give a fuck what these fools were wearing. But since you brought that up, it is possible for people to change clothes from one hour to the next, ya know. I think it's time for you to step away from your computer.

He did an interview on the Tyra Banks show saying how he had to watch his mother be beaten by his stepfather as a child on several occasions and how disgusted he was that a man could hit a woman, so his recent actions just look 10 times worse because of the statements he's made on the subject of physical abuse. He's being punished for his actions like anyone should be, whether they are a celebrity or not, so yes I think it's fair; but it's sad that some celebrities do things that are just as bad and don't get punished enough.
Honestly, I didn't think it was fair that they kept playing Britney Spears' songs after she was videoed driving recklessly with her kids in the car on several occasions. Child endangerment is just as serious as physically assaulting someone IMO, but radio stations still kept endorsing her and people were showing more sympathy for her than for her poor sons who were unwillingly subjected to her erratic behavior, so no I don't think it's fair that one person can get away with doing something wrong while another person can't. Someone above made a list of several celebrities who have done terrible things to others and gotten a slap on the wrist for it, but the list is missing Tommy Lee and Bobby Brown who were both arrested for the beat downs that they bestowed on their now ex-wives, yet neither one of them were ordered to do any sort of real jail time for their actions...and by 'real', I mean years, not a few months in protective custody. OJ Simpson, Robert Blake, and Phil Spector should also be on that list because I still believe that they all had hands in either murdering or paying someone to murder three innocent women, yet they all got off scot free after their trials rendered 'not guilty' verdicts. R. Kelly was videoed doing lewd sexual acts to minors and not only did he get off, but radio stations were still playing his songs and supporting him. Unfortunately, we live in a biased society where some people can be forgiven if they burn down a school full of children and some people can't jaywalk without being slapped with a ticket. Do I think he was right for hitting her, absolutely not, but is he the only male celebrity in history that we know has hit a woman, hell no, but sadly, many of them didn't get as much punishment as they should have. If one is wrong, than so are others who do the same thing. Oh well, all I know is that it sucks to be him right now. Prince Rogers Nelson

Here it is again, but with some commentary from me: James Brown (domestic abuse)
Ike Turner (domestic abuse) Jimi Hendrix (domestic abuse)I've never heard of this..... Notorious BIG (domestic abuse)shit like abuse only adds to Biggie's street rep Big Pun (domestic abuse)see above R. Kelly (child molestation) I think everyone knows my feelings about this one[/b[ MJ (child molestation) Michael lost endorsements, radio stations wouldn't play him, stores wouldn't stock his albums, and the school that he went to covered his name on the auditorium.....oh yeah, barely any evidence and he was acquitted Pete Townsend (child molestation)I'm suspicious about Townsend, I still need to look into this one Christopher Williams (domestic abuseWasn't it said that it was Wesley who beat Halle, not him? If people want to go there, we can add Rick James Nikki Six Tommy Lee Jay Z Kool G Rap assload of rappers Phil Spector and many others "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. I can understand that Chris' sponsors are protecting their images by dropping him for this incident (can't really blame many of them to be honest), but I don't understand why some companies are dropping their endorsements with Michael Phelps just because he was 'getting happy with a water pipe'. To me, that's utterly ridiculous; especially from Frosted Flakes. Don't they know that they are the cereal of choice for potheads? Someone really needs to clue them in on this, because I've seen more than one comedian making a joke about it since they made this announcement. Damn, I wonder what Phelps' sponsors would have done if they found out that he was doing a real drug or taking steriods like A-Rod, who doesn't seem to be getting nearly as much negative press as he should for that shit. I'm still amazed that most of Kate Moss' sponsors took her back based on her simply telling them that she sought treatment for her drug addiction...I would have been making that heiffer take random drug tests until her contract expired. Don't even get me started on how repulsed I am about all the radio airplay and praise Amy Winehouse was getting during her drug abusing phase. People sure didn't stop supporting her from what I saw. Double standards, and biased statements and ideas make me ill. Prince Rogers Nelson

I swear people are stupid as hell. America has to be one of the most hypocritical places on the planet. We glorify the shit out of violence in movies and music, spend countless hours watching reality television hoping that something "exciting" will happen (like a fight) and then when something unpleasant happens in real life, we think a 19 year old celebrity should have his career completely taken away and thrown in jail without knowing all of the facts. No wonder we're behind in everything and our economy is trashed. We are stupid as hell as a society. Its amazing we haven't crumbled yet.
It seems stupid to me how people believe you should lose your JOB because of personal shit. If the greatest heart surgeon in the world was an ex child molester, I'd rather have him work on me than the C student with the good home life and no personal flaws. So dude should have his music pulled off the radio now? Come on. That's just plain fucking DUMB. Endorsements taken? Sure. Those are perks that come with the job. Taking his music off the air is dumb. So, I guess because Rihanna got beat, we're supposed to listen to her music more now? People are fucking idiots, I swear. I'm not a fan of either of them but this has nothing to do with their music. People should learn to separate things. Everyone's a damn judge these days. (Thanks, Idol) I guess if you beat someone up, you lose all of your abilities to sing and dance. Idiots.
