Robert Plant.

No wonder Led Zeppelin won't reform. My guess is that the rest of the band no longer want Plant after hearing that damn-awful song he currently has with the bird. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Plant is doing his own thing and if I am not mistaken, just took home a bunch of Grammys for his cd with Allison Krauss. I own it and it is great.

Also, if I am not mistaken, Plant HIMSELF has no interest in reforming with Led Zep!! He has moved on and wants to b involved with other styles of music now!!!

I know Plant has no interest in reforming Led Zepp. And thank fuck for that. Each to their own though, so I'm glad some of you are enjoying his new material. As god-damn-awful as it is wink

while i was NEVER a huge fan of led zep (alil before my time)- i always respected that band ... when i had a radio show with my roomate in college - he was a HUGE LED ZEP fan and i learned to like alot of their stuff AND i think they have a uniquely original sound ... reminds me of what i loved about Prince...

I respect Robert Plant . I like that he has "experimented " with A Krauss and made it work (so thought the Grammy voters) ...

on a side note ... the night Prince got inducted into the Hall of Fame ... i was "wondering" outside the Waldorf at around 7... and Robert Plant got out of a Limo and smiled and waved .... i just couldnt help but say ... "damn that guy is too cool " ... lol
Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

I respect the idea that Plant wants to move forward, but LAWD how I'd love to the Zep live.

LOL...Although I want Page and Plant together again and Zep ;Plant is more interested in his music with Alison Krauss. I heard Zep is going to tour without him. Page is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Plant is SPOOKED by PAGE'S ALISTER CROWLEY Connection and thought it brought Bad Luck to Zep with his son's Death and his Car accident and John Bonheim's Death. Like I said PLANT is SPOOKED by the MAGIC CONNECTION.

I saw a Robert Plant & Alison Krauss concert last year and it was amazing. It was a little weird hearing country versions of Led Zeppelin songs, but it worked. Alison has 1 of the most incredible voices I have ever heard, and sounds great with Plant.I have seen Plant about 7 times solo, but only caught the Page & Plant tour once.Since Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite groups, I have dreamed of seeing them live.I guess we have 2 respect Plant's decision, even if we do not think it is the right one.

I love that song! Perfect road trip song. That was my introduction to Robert Plant before even hearing of Led Zeppelin.

The Page and Plant tour was Amazing. They played at Madison Square Garden late 90's. I loved Plants first 2 solo albums. I bought the 3rd Now And Zen,but didn't get into it. Haven't listened in IONS. I like the song Little By Little.

Dont know why this song bored me in my youth but I really dig it now. Also starting to appreciate In The Mood and the Honeydrippers stuff.

Exactly!! I mseeing posts on this forum from people saying "Its boring", well, you know everything cant have a dance fucking beat to it, and you know what, 90% of dance music and Rb etc is boring and mundane and doesnt go anywhere. For people to say that the Robert Plant Alison Krauss album is boring and then post threads about the "genius" of El Debarge, really has me thinking "are u fucking smoking crack!"

I had mixed feelings about the album of the year award. I'm a huge Led Zeppelin fan AND a huge Radiohead fan. Now I know Plant is not Zeppelin but dammit he is a rock god because of them. I saw Page/Plant twice in the nineties and those guys rocked hard both times. It was the closest I'll ever get to seeing the mighty Zeppelin since I was mostly too young when they were around. I tried to get into the whole Plant/Krauss project just for Plant but I couldn't do it. I got more into the Page/Plant project Walking into Clarksdale project from years before even though it had it's share of duds. Hell even "Please Read the Letter" is from this album. I think that Radiohead's In Rainbows, though not the greatest Radiohead album, is far more deserving of album of the year. I really wanted Radiohead to win this one (even thought they won for Best Alternative album). Whenever the announcer read "Ra-" my heart lept for Radiohead but then he said "-sing Sand" and I was let down. I love me some Plant but on the real I can see why a lot of people would say that Raising Sand is boring. Because it is. In Rainbows is far from boring...
