I think it's okay for a non-album song but if this would have been the new single from his upcoming album I'd be disapointed.
Honestly I think she should change something too... He always goes up a note and stuff... what about working with a co-producer? Also... does he use auto-tune or why does his voice sound so strange?

It's not like he needs it...done on purpose, of course. I could've done without it but I enjoy the vibe of the song.

Sounds like something Barney would sing.

It's cool but it's like a mixture of autotune, vocoder, talkbox and harmonica = StevieWonderTron2009.

Ive actually read that the melody was written in the 1970's and he finished most of it in 1998... my opinion of the song is that it sounds like it was done all in Reasons; this song would sound so much better semi organic, at least with some real drum playing. Not sure what kind of effect is on the voice, but it fits the cheesiness of the song. =/ Honestly it sounds like he did this in a day; not too crazy about this one At this point in history, we have a choice to make

Nice tune, awful arrangement and vocals. Why couldn't he just sing it without warping it like that? www.maximum-jackson.com

Generally, I really like IT!!!! hate the freakin' auto tune. Why are people who can sing using that damn Auto Tune..."normal voice-auto tune-normal voice-auto tune", all through the whole song...it's annoying as hell Anyway I digress...It's got a happy sound like "I Just Called to Say I Love You". It's the most distinctive Stevie song I've heard in a while.

WOW, a new stevie song and I don't know about it?
Gonna listen to it right now!

Good song, although Stevie Wonder doesn't need to use auto-tune. Stevie did use the talkbox back on 'Music of my Mind' back in '70 so in a way, he kinda is the pioneer of that whole vocal-effect thing anyway, along with Herbie & Roger.

Where did you read it was written in the 70s and finished in 1998? He was on the radio here in America Monday morning talking about the song. He said he started working on it in the 70's and worked on it throughout the years and finished it in '98. The morning show was Tom Joyner.

I hate to say it but I wasn't feeling it. I don't mind a little auto-tune but there was too much on there. Plus the song just dragged and I was wondering when it was going to end. I wonder if he's going to make a new CD anytime soon. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

well last year he said he will be releasing two new albums!!! He should focus on only a few songs on his albums. The world's best albums have ten tracks or even lessn. Quality over quantity. I think he easily could have let 4 songs on Time 4 Love away, and it would have been a better album.

well, I'm sure he wrote hundreds of songs but od course not every song was good. Some of the songs he gave to others are boring as well. But only some. The most songs are GREAT!
