They're French origin (with French pronunciation) to reflect their mom's Bayou Creole heritage. Beyonce's birthname is actually a derivitive of a surname on her mom's side (Beyince) and like SCDLS said, Solange is a common name in France. Solange is pronounced "So-lanj". The "g" in in Solange is soft as in the word "lounge". | |
