Help! Where Can I Find These Songs? I've decided to start a thread where we can help each other find certain songs,or find out who sings a certain song, etc. The people on this site are very knowledgable, and I love to see people helping each other. So,here's my question...
***I love the 1978 song "Fool (If You Think It's Over)" by Chris Rea so last year,I bought his compilation CD 'The Very Best Of Chris Rea'.Unfortunately,it contains RE-RECORDED versions of all his hits!! I don't want a re-recorded version (especially since his voice ain't what it used to be...lol),I want the ORIGINAL 1978 version of this song but I can't find it anywhere!! Does anyone know where I should hunt for it? ***This is a question that Bro915 might be able to answer. In late 1982,or early 1983,I recall an R&B song by a male vocal group (or male singer) that was called "After I Cry Tonight".The song is about a man dealing with the end of a relationship and the chorus goes "After I Cry Tonight, honey I'm through (I ain't gonna cry no more babe,I ain't gonna cry no more babe)".Who sings this song?? ***In late 1987,there was an R&B song called "Leave The Lights On".It's a beautiful, sexy song about leaving the lights on during lovemaking. It's a man and woman singing, and features lyrics like "Girl, let me see your hairnet...your skin's so silky to the touch,I can hardly stand it".Who sings this song? ***In 1980 or 1981,I remember hearing a lovely remake of the 1977 Rose Royce hit "Wishing On A Star. It's a jazzier version so it's probably by a jazz group.Anyone know who sings it?

Davideye...I'll drawing a blank on these songs as of right now. That "After I Cry" and especially that 87' song "Leave The Lights On" sounds familiar. I do fairly good at identifying old obscure R&B/pop songs especially from the 80's era. If I get the name of these songs, I'll hit you up.
